In collaboration with artist Daniel Permanetter, David Puntel of the Central Valley Project created 10 wet-plate collodion images to be included in an installation.


September 14 - December 20, 2013 - The Palmina F. & Stephen S. Pace Galleries of Art, Fryeburg Academy, Maine, USA

Commissioned to create an homage to 19th Century portraiture, David Puntel, of the Central Valley Project, with the support of grants from the Fryeburg Academy and Fryeburg Fair, spent a week in the Fall of 2012 making almost 100 historic wet-plate collodion photographs.  With a grant from the Maine Arts Commission and the Maine Humanities Council,  the images will be exhibited at the Pace Galleries of Art, Fryeburg Academy.

Berlin, October 2013

David Puntel, of the Central Valley Project, will be conducting a weekend workshop in Salt, Albumen, & Cyanotype printing, October 18, 19, & 20, (2013) at the Volkshochschule Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg ("Experimentelle SW-Fotografie"), Berlin, Germany.  Contact the school directly for information (don't delay - the April and June 2013 classes were fully enrolled!).
